This past weekend Nick, Jordyn, Grandma & Grandpa Benson and I traveled to Colorado Springs for a wedding of one of the girls I played travel softball with. Jordyn had a lot of firsts this weekend. We left on Friday, which happened to be her first Halloween! Not much for trick or treating, but still a fun day!
She got to fly on a plane for the first time, ride in a tram in the airport, ride in a bus to go pick up the rental car, stay in her first hotel, and attend her first wedding ceremony! Quite the weekend for Jordyn! We also flew back home on Sunday and we realized that her first tooth is finally popping through!
Jordyn was quite the trooper all weekend with all the traveling. It helped that she had her buddy Carter Ginger around! Family friends Tony & Molli Ginger and Dick & Marilyn Laing also made the trip out. Jordyn & Carter had a lot of fun swimming in the hotel pool and watching all the different people at the wedding reception.
It was a very big weekend, but we were all very relieved to get home. Traveling with a nine month old is draining!
